Hey,

This walk is a 2-day return walk from Sassafras to Hidden Valley, going past Newhaven gap and Quilty's Mtn on the way (26km total). The cars will be left at NPWS gate near Sassafras. Plan is to camp out one night between Quilty's Mtn and Sturgiss Mtn on flat ground where there is water available. The walk will include beautiful views, plateaus and interesting rock formations.

Hikers should have experience in overnight hiking and need to arrange their own backpacks and camping gear (or rent from the gear store). Tents and cooking equipment can be arranged within the group.
Please send me an email if you are interested in coming along and confirm in your email that you have done an overnight hike before. Then I can add you to the trip.

Leaving Canberra 6:30am from Ainslie on Saturday morning.
The cars will be left at NPWS gate near Sassafras. Hike out along service fire trail to New haven gap. Drop packs and hike up Quilty's mtn. Plan is to camp out one night at Styles Creek between Quilty's Mtn and Sturgiss Mtn on flat ground where there is water available. On Sunday hike into hidden valley, then return back along the same track.
