To celebrate Australia Day, we'll meet at the boat shed at 5.30pm, take the kayaks and go for a bit of a paddle before pulling up on Springbank Island for a BBQ. Then we'll hop back into the boats and paddle up to Commonwealth Bridge and watch the fireworks from the water (9-9.15pm) before heading back to the shed in the dark.

Bring:
- hat and sunscreen
- warm clothes (e.g. wind/water proof jacket)
- BBQ food and implements / nibbles to share
- water
- head torch or bike light (a MUST for paddling on the lake at night - there will be several boats out on the lake)
- Something Australia themed!

As we'll be paddling in the dark, please only sign up if you have paddled with the club before.
