Are you new to Canberra and want to know where the best powder stashes, the maddest tree lines and gnarest chutes are? Or maybe you've decided that 2016 is the year you're going to get gooch deep in pow pow and shred hella pillows.
Either way, come along to our Come and Try Session.

We'll meet at the top of Black Mountain when the snow arrives. Black Mountain offers a variety of trails to suit all skill types ranging from 'The Road' for beginners to 'Falling up trees' for expert skiers.

Once there we will do a snow pack evaluation to check for avalanche risk before selecting suitable terrain for the day. We should be back at ANU in time for the BBQ at 12!

You will need to bring:
- AT or telemark ski gear
- Appropriate warm clothing
- Avalanche safety beacon, shovel and probe
- Your own supply of snow
- A vivid imagination or at least a decent sense of humour

There will be actual skiing activities posted once winter arrives.
