Easy day of climbing at a the grey labs and sandwiches walls of Shipley Upper:

Climbers must be self-sufficient for gear (can be hired from gear store).
For beginners this means:
- ATC or similar belay device
- Helmet
- Harness
- Climbing shoes
- Chalk
- Quickdraws and rope (can be hired from gear store)

Previous experience in lead climbing and belaying is encouraged but not required. Experienced climbers who want a chilled day out are also encouraged to help in supervising beginners.


A relaxed day of climbing at a lovely blue mountains crag. Chilling out after the Saturday (if you climbed with me) or working on improving your leading outdoors.
