Hey team,
I'm keen to do a day trip out to the Berlang State Forest to check out Big Hole and Marble Arch. Both features are meant to be quite impressive. Big Hole being just that, a big hole, while Marble Arch is a basic horizontal canyon with cave-like features. Marble Arch will require a bit of walking (12km in total) so you have to be reasonably fit. More info available at:

http://ozultimate.com/tom/bushwalking/2013/20130720_marble_arch/photos.htm

Participant numbers will dependon how many drivers/cars I get.

As well as normal bushwalking gear it's recommended that you also bring spare shoes you're happy to get wet (there's at least one creek crossing) and a torch. I'll take care of group safety equipment.

Depart Canberra 07:30
Drive to Berlang Campground (off Cooma Rd) via Captains Flat
Walk to Marble Arch via Big Hole
Then do everything in reverse back to Canberra by 16:00ish
