There's currently 60cm of fresh snow sitting on the mountains and another 15cm forecast tonight. A small group of us are heading up for a day in the Guthega Ck (Gills Knobs) area. You'll want to be at least an intermediate level downhill skier for this trip.

Most of the group have their own AT gear or are hiring AT gear from Rhythm in Cooma. You can hire club telemark gear for this trip, but you'll need to dry your boots and skins in front of a heater on Wednesday night and return your gear EARLY on Thursday (i.e. be at the gear store at 5:50pm to return you gear the second the gear store opens). There's 2 ski lessons this weekend so the gear store will be hectic - if you rock up at 6:15pm to return the gear you will earn the eternal wrath of the gear store officers!
