A beginner surf kayaking trip (how beginner depends on the surfing conditions on the day).

To attend this trip, which is part of Taya's Ultra Rad Coast Safari (TURCS), you need to have paddled a kayak before and be comfortable with wet exiting, dragging a kayak full of water to the shore (while small/large waves crash on you), emptying the kayak out and then starting again :)

Surf kayak numbers are contingent on the number of kayaks we have at the coast at the time.

People are welcome to come and watch/sunbake/swim/snorkel on this trip.

You'll need: 

• Kayaking equipment: (kayak, pfd, paddles, spray deck)


• Beach things: swimmers / wetsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat etc.
