Canyon trip canceled, going to the Castle instead. Yes it's the Budawangs one, of Cocktails on the Castle fame.

There is space for a couple more, but you will need your own gear (tent, stove, pack etc.)

We will depart on Friday afternoon, about 3-4pm camping at the carpark to get an early start on Saturday. Camping at Cooyoyo ck we will explore Monolith valley on Sunday before returning home late Sunday evening.

Medium fitness level required, probably some overnight experience would be useful. Email me if unsure.

Ascent/Descent: 1560m

Distance: about 15-20km

Depart Long Gully 8am, head for Castle. Drop packs then visit summit.
Depart summit no later than 5pm heading for Cooyoyo camp.
Sunday, depart 8am head into Monolith valley. Aim to return to the saddle by 2pm, returning to car by 6pm.
