I have never done backcountry skiing and never been on AT gear. Richard has done both many times over and is kind enough to share the slopes around Paralyser (back of Mount Perisher) to play with the AT gear the club has recently purchased. After looking at the snow report, Sunday seems like a good bet this weekend.

This trip is suitable if you are a intermediate downhill skier. No pretrip but I'll be in the gear store tonight hiring AT gear if you want to chat.

If you want a lift, meet me at Wanniassa to drive to Perisher, ski and then drive back.

Leave Cars at designates spot and walk to noth eastern slopes of guthega damn. head back to cars approximately 4pm.
