Archived trip from old website run by jthorn

The plan is to take advantage of the recent snow and last minute leave approvals to do a day trip on AT skis to Leatherbarrel Creek. We will join another group, which will already be there.

To take part in this trip you will need to have a high level of fitness (we'll cover around 1,000 vertical metres and a distance of 12 kilometres). You'll need to have skied back country before using AT gear.  If using club gear, you'll need to have  had Seb's sign off before embarking on the trip (ideally you'll have your own gear, given the late notice). Please state your level of experience in the trip sign-up.

We will go up the spur from Dead Horse Gap, heading towards Rams Head before dropping into Leatherbarrel Creek.
