Archived trip from old website run by jvennik

This training session is for mountaineers wanting to practise techniques of roping up for glacier travel, moving together as a roped team, and ascending/prussicing up a rope.

To attend this session you will need your: harness, helmet (for when ascending ropes), prussics (short and long), locking and non-locking carabiners, maybe spare slings, your climbing ropes (if you'd like to practise with them, otherwise we can train with normal climbing ropes) and whatever else you use in your crevasse rescue kit (tibloc, micro-traxion, etc.).

If time allows, we can begin to practise crevasse rescue techniques if people would like. (I'll also put up a separate trip at a later date for practising crevasse rescue techniques.)
