Hi All,

With river levels pumping up again after rain in the upper Bidgee catchment, a trip from Pine Island to Kambah Pool should be great for intermediate/advanced paddlers. This will be a grade 3 paddle with a few portages. We need several advanced paddlers to join the crew if we are to include a few inexperienced paddlers. The final crew will need to be sufficiently skilled for this trip to go ahead. You will need a reliable roll to participate.

Bring the usual gear plus strong footwear. 

Meet at ANU boat shed at 1300 to load kayaks and gear. Drive to Kambah Pool for car shuttle. Drive to Pine Island to start paddle by 1430. The paddle should take 2-3 hours depending on crew.
