Archived trip from old website run by Melanie Stamell

Note - this is a beginner canyoning trip, not a beginner camping / outdoors trip. In order to attend you need to have experience abseiling (in case we do Empress) and be experienced camping (the campsite does not even have a toilet, so you'll need to be comfortable taking a bush dump).

We'll drive to the blue mountains on Saturday afternoon, 5:00 pm, camp the night and then head out for a fun day of canyoning. We'll do Twister, Rocky Ck and possibly Empress. We'll head back to Canberra Sunday night. This will be a long day.  

 

Camp at Barcoo Swamp Saturday night. Do Rocky Ck and Twister and then head back to Canberra.
Josh Bax and Melanie Stamell will be leading the canyon. Both have done the canyon multiple times before.
