The lake is full of algae so let's go to the ocean! Current front runners are Moruya Heads (awesome surf, cheap camping) or Meroo Head (free camping, beach for surfing and lake for rolling practice / beginners). Both about 2.5hrs from CBR and slightly south/north of Bateman's respectively.

Head down Friday evening (or Saturday morning), camp Fri/Sat nights, head home Sunday arvo. Exact plans will depend on weather conditions, people/car availability and experience levels.

Surfing will be much more fun if you can roll, but it's not essential. Please list your experience level in the signup comments so we can try to balance it out with enough overall experience.

We'll probably take white water kayaks for surfing as we're not doing any significant touring and they're easy to transport - comment if you can bring a car and how many people/kayaks you can fit.

You'll need to be self sufficient at car camping for 2 nights in a remote area (possibly no water/reception/shops) so need tent/food/water/etc. Although there's the option of some luxury (!) side trips like servo/pub dinners fri/sat night.

So let me know: (1) can you bring a car plus people/kayak capacity and availability, (2) kayak experience levels
