The Snowy River Extreme Race is a whitewater event held on the iconic Snowy River in Kosciuszko National Park. The Event takes place on the October long weekend and consists of two races; an Expert race, and an Intermediate race. There is also new categories for inflatable pack rafts and kayaks.

The ANUMC has had competitors in every race held so far and have placed competitors in the finals. The club also supplies volunteers to help with the smooth running of the race. 



Participants and spectators camp at Island bend and there is a great atmosphere for the duration of the event. 

Head up to Island Bend Friday night or Saturday Morning.
Compete.
Come back to Canberra victorious.
