Mt. Tennent (1375m) is a 14.4km return walk in the Namadgi National Park that offers expansive views and a good training for steep hikes. It is a continual ascent of 783 m to the summit. The trail forms part of the Australian Alps Walking Track and starts at the NMP Visitor Centre. The views towards Canberra and Bimberri Wilderness will be breathtaking.



Please bring:



- 2-3L of water

- decent hiking shoes/boots/runners

- Warm layers 

- Wide-brimmed hat/ sun-glasses/ sun screen

- Rain jacket

- Lunch and snacks

- Camera
