If you think you're more of a cross country type skier, this is the trip for you! This weekend is geared at beginners, although more experienced cross country skiers are welcome to join in for a weekend of snow fun and help out. 

Saturday: We'll spend the first day on the cross country trails at Perisher

Sunday: We'll go from Perisher to Charlottes Pass (and return)

We'll camp at Island Bend. This will be good practice camping in cold conditions for those people who haven't done much camping. 

Costs are: park entry ($30/vehicle/day), petrol ($30 - $60 / person depending on person / car ratio) and *maybe* chain hire.
