This trip is open to a handful of beginners to try abseiling under the supervision of some up-and-coming canyoning leaders.

We will meet at the SRA at 8am then drive out to Lego Land and practice abseil instruction, anchor set-up, abseilling and prussicking for a few hours. Lego Land will provide opportunities to practice canyon-like abseils on odd-shaped rock surfaces and through slots. If you've never been to Lego Land there'll also be time to explore the many nooks and crannies of the boulder field.

Equipment. Please bring:

- Harness

- Helmet

- Figure 8

- ATC (if available)

- At least 2 lockable carabiners

- At least 1 clip carabiner

- Non slip shoes

- Warm clothes

- Lunch and water

Depart from ANU Sport and Rec Centre and drive to Lego Land via Honeysuckle Camp Ground. Walk to Lego Land and practice abseiling. Once complete, return to ANU.
