Archived trip from old website run by Ivan Dovana

This session is open for intermediate climbers to learn/practice basic prussicking skills. Prussicking is a self rescue technique where a climber ascends a rope using cord.

We will meet at the base of the old climbing wall and practice for a couple of hours. Please don't be late.

You will need:

  • Harness

  • Helmet

  • 2 x Lockable carabiners

  • 2 x 5mm prussick cord (a 3m and a 1.5m length)

I will organise group gear.

When signing up please indicate your outdoor climbing experience and whether you have led any trips.
