On Saturday, March 14, 2020, the sky above the Lake Burley Griffin will fill with spectacular fireworks. 

We'll meet at the boat shed at 6:30pm and paddle up to Commonwealth Bridge and watch these fireworks (8:30) from the water before heading back to the shed in the dark.

Bring:

- head torch or bike light (a MUST for paddling on the lake at night - there will be several other boats out on the lake)

- warm clothes (e.g. wind/waterproof jacket)

- Snack

- water

As we'll be paddling in the dark, only club members that have previous kayaking experience and have been on a few kayaking sessions on the lake can register for this trip.
