Anyone else keen for this rain to end! In celebration of some better weather, I am going to run a kayak at sunset on Friday. If you haven't seen a Canberra sunset on the water, it is definitely worth it!

This will be a fairly quick afternoon session - meeting at the boat shed at 6pm. We will try and get on the water as quickly as possible and have  paddle out towards either the museum/parliament house or around Black Mountain Peninsula (depending wind direction). Sunset is at about 7:10pm, so we watch the sun go down and be back at the sheds by around 7:30pm. 

Beginners are welcome. Let me know during your registration how much kayaking experience you have and whether or not you can swim 200m/tread water. Please answer these two questions or your registration may be disregarded.

Places are limited by the number of boats (so please don't come down to the shed if you are on the waitlist by Friday), and this trip is obviously very dependent - although so far Friday is looking quite nice :)
