Abseiling is a fundamental skill used for descending ropes as part of canyoning, caving, or lowering off a multi-pitch climb.



This session is aimed at novice adventurers who'd like to learn how to abseil, and will cover:




  • Fireman's belay

  • ABCDE Checks

  • Abseiling single and double rope

  • Use of Figure 8 and ATC descender



Dress is sports clothes with enclosed shoes.



All gear will be provided, but you can bring your own if you have it. 



Meet at the right-hand end of the old climbing wall.
