You are invited to the Annual ANUMC AGM  and Awards night. Please make sure you sign up.

There will be a number of awards presented on the night including the 'The Axe' award and the annual awards for Trip Leader of the Year, Beginner of the Year and Up and Coming Trip Leader of the year. We will also judge the best photos taken in 2020!

If you have been on a ANUMC trip this year, there's a strong possibility that you could also be nominated for any number of our awards!

We will also be holding the Annual General Meeting as expeditiously as possible throughout the course of the evening.

Time: 5:00pm for 5:15pm start

Nominations for the 2022 executive positions are now open. An executive position is a great way to meet fellow club members, contribute to decision making and become more involved in running such an awesome club. It also looks great on the CV.

Also, we are now calling for nominations for the following awards and the annual photo competition. Importantly, the list is not comprehensive - if you feel that someone has done something that warrants an award, awesome or awesomely ridiculous, but does not fit into the categories below, then nominate them for a new award!

The serious awards: 

- ANUMC Hall of Fame ('The Axe') - for outstanding service to the club 

- Trip Leader of the Year

- Up and Coming Trip Leader of the Year

- Beginner of the Year 

... the not so serious awards:

- Culinary Disaster Award

- Geographical Discombobulation Award for Contributions to Navigational Excellence

- The "Faff Award for time wasting in the bush"

...and any other category you think should be awarded!

Last but not least, we have the photo competition. There are prizes for each category and the photos you submit may be used for a range of promotional activities such as the new ANUMC website, posters, calendars etc. Please note that there is a limit of one photo per person per category and the photo entries need to be related to ANUMC activities.
