Archived trip from old website run by Ivan Dovana

The aim is to meet at the boatshed, collect gear and head to Urriara (East) to practice intermediate skills such as ferry gliding, eddying in/out and potentially Grade 2 rapids.

If you want to come along you must be comfortable using a white water kayak and be able to perform a wet exit. Please indicate your experience when signing up.

I can take two kayaks on my car

If we get more vehicles we can bring more boats. Please indicate if you have a car and are willing to drive when signing up.

In addition to gear from the boatshed please bring:

• towel


• change of clothes


• water and snacks


• sunscreen
