Archived trip from old website run by Ivan Dovana

This is an intermediate white water trip aimed at increasing paddlers' skills. If you have never paddled in a white water kayak in moving water, this trip is not for you.


We'll need at least four paddlers to make this viable. Please indicate your experience when signing up.


The plan is to meet at the boatshed, collect gear and head to Cotter to practice ferry gliding, eddying in/out, basic rescues and potentially Grade 2 rapids.


I can take two kayaks on my car. If we get more vehicles we can bring more boats. Please indicate if you have a car and are willing to drive when signing up.


In addition to gear from the boatshed please bring:



  • towel

  • change of clothes

  • water and snacks

  • sunscreen




As per the trip description. In addition we may paddle between Cotter and Casuarina Sands
