With the sun poking out this Sunday, it should be a great day to have a few runs around leather barel. This trip is unfotunately not suitable for beginers and previous AT experince is ideal. My current plan is to head from canberra Sunday morning and drive down to threadbo, catch the Kosciosko express up and tick of some of the steep runs into Leather Barel creek. I'll be driving and have space for two others in my car. 

In terms of gear it would be best if you have your own AT kit, however I will be at the gear store on Thursday to collect some Avalanche gear and crampons. 

When signing up if I havent skied with you before please let me know what your ability is, additonaly signing up doesnt gurantee you a spot. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

0500 Depart Canberra
0930 Catch Kosi express chairlift up
0940 Skin over to the top of Rams Head
1100 Ski "the Corrie" and other runs around the area
1400 Head back to the thread carpark most likely passing by the community bell
