The usual Sunday afternoon paddle, 2-3 hours paddling either towards the dam or Kingston, depending on wind direction, but incorporating lessons on sailing. The club's doubles are stable enough to allow paddlers who have only been on lake paddles to hoist sail, kick back and enjoy the ride (downwind). On long trips, sails are a fantastic way to get to beautiful wild campsites faster, without spending so many many hours paddling away watching distant headlands get ever so slowly closer.
