We're making sure the double sailing-sea-kayaks are ship-shape before our ocean 'voyage' along the SE NSW coast. Club lake-use takes a shocking toll on the seakayaks. Pleeease take care of their rudders, wires, pump switches and fittings. And NEVER tie knots in their various ropes/cords, without asking a kayak officer first. This should be a good opportunity for newbies to learn more about the various systems on the sea kayaks that make them serious expedition-quality craft.
