Overnight XC ski trip. The plan is:

• Drive up and camp on Friday night (location TBC)
• Ski from Guthega Power Station to Schlink 'Hilton' Hut (11km, 550m elevation gain) if weather is good. Side trip to Dicky Cooper Bogong (approx 5 km / 200m return, depending where we start from). Camp next to hut.
• Loop around Gungartan, Tin Hut, Kerries ridge and back to Schlink (around 10-12km / 300-400m) without overnight packs, then ski back down to cars.

Suitable for people with some skiing experience and some overnight hiking experience but not necessarily camped in snow before. Good level of fitness required considering we are doing some reasonable elevation gains.

Club telemark skis are suitable for this trip, however for someone wanting lighter and more comfortable gear we can also stop at Rhythm in Cooma to hire their light touring skis.

Pre-trip meeting 6:30pm SHARP outside gear store on Wed 14th so we can discuss everything before gear store opens at 6:45pm.
