Come and watch Skyfire fireworks with me from the lake. We'll meet at the boatshed at 7:20, depart by 7:45, and paddle towards the bridge opposite the museum, which should give us a great view of the fireworks away from the crowds. The fireworks start at 8:30. Feel free to bring drinks or snacks to enjoy from in the kayaks while waiting and watching (if you're late, we won't wait for you—we don't want to miss the fireworks). 

IMPORTANT: you MUST bring a headtorch or some sort of light to attach to the kayak. Kayaking without a light at night is illegal. If you don't have a light on your kayak, you can't go.

Should be back at the boatshed around 9:30pm.

Beginners welcome, but since we'll be paddling in the dark, you need to have kayaked before and know what you're doing.
