The Grotto, Steep technical pumpy walls on offer.

This trip will be part of the Kangaroo Valley Extravaganza 2025. You can't sign up to this trip directly. You'll need to request to come to KVE. If you have been invited to come to KVE, check the trip allocation calendar to see if you're going on this trip. If you are coming to KVE, and you haven't been allocated a spot on this trip, but you really want to join, email Bill McAlister (bushwalking officer on the contacts page). 

this trip is subject to change after I observe climbing skills and grades of participants on Fridays Thomsons point trip. The Grotto is a intermediate crag offering harder overhanging climbs its also more spaced out.

for those who know this crag or are interested in climbing certain areas please let me know. We will have to choose a area to focus on. can move after lunch to a new area.

Departing: 10am from the KVE camp ground.

Returning: 6pm

You will need to bring:

• Sun Protection
• Climbing shoes
• Climbing Harness
• Chalk bag and chalk
• helmet
• Personal anchoring System
•  2 locking carabiners 
• A belay device 
• packed lunch

• 1-2l Water

  if you have your own rope or draws please bring along too
