As we are heading into canyoning season, I am running a few sessions to teach people the basics of abseiling.  If you are already signed up to a canyoning trip, or you are interested in signing up to a canyoning trip this summer, these sessions will be very useful. 

We will use the catwalk area above the old wall to practice abseiling and, if there is time, other skills relevant to canyoning such as tying off and ascending a rope. 

For anyone who has attended some earlier abseil sessions and is comfortable abseiling - I will be at the wall from 4pm on this day and we can use the hour from 4-5pm to go over some more advanced skills (tying off, abseiling with a prussik, ascending a rope).
