We will be heading up to Cooleman Ridge's "Horse Paddock Boulders" for an afternoon of casual outdoor bouldering. The area includes two more challenging overhanging sections, a semi-technical slab and some taller vertical sections including a crack- there is something suited to a range of ability levels and interests. We'll meet outside ANU Sport at 3:30pm and then carpool out to the start of the trailhead to Mount Arawang, parking on the side of Namatjira Drive. From there it's roughly a ten minute walk across a paddock and around the base of Mount Arawang, then cutting across grass to get to the boulders. Aiming for a 4-4:15 start, we will hope to finish at 6 or 7pm depending on the group's preferences.
